Foundations is a unique element of Immanuel Online School. Foundations combines Biblical studies, theology, apologetics and philosophy, religious studies, church and cultural history to provide students with a deep-rooted understanding of Christianity and the contemporary world in which they live. Students also have the opportunity to work through a book thematically and the "Who am I in Christ" 6 week series is adapted specifically for teenagers to make it relevant and engaging. GCSE Level Foundations also covers the 'Soul' series (Christianity explored), Gems from the book of Acts, and lessons on 'Wisdom for life'. Lots to look forward to.

English Language IGCSE IOS

This course prepares students for the CAIE IGCSE examination in First Language English  (0500). Cambridge IGCSE First Language English is designed for learners whose first language is English. The course enables learners to: develop the ability to communicate clearly, accurately and effectively when speaking and writing. use a wide range of vocabulary, and the correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. Language is a gift from God that allows us to communicate and connect with others. The IGCSE English Language course teaches the mechanics and beauty of language, reminding us of the power of words to shape thoughts, actions, and relationships.

English Literature IGCSE IOS

This course prepares students for the CAiE IGCSE examination in English Literature (0475). Cambridge IGCSE Literature in English offers learners the opportunity to read, interpret, evaluate and respond to a range of literature in English. The range includes drama, prose and poetry from the works of Shakespeare to contemporary literature. Lots to look forward to! Literature reflects the human experience, and the Bible is a testament to this. The IGCSE English Literature course introduces works of literature from different times, cultures, and perspectives, revealing the power of stories to shape our worldview and relationships.

Mathematics IGCSE

Computer Science IGCSE

Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science is a fascinating journey of exploration into the world of computational thinking and problem-solving using computers. With an eye on the past and the future, learners will be inspired to develop their interest in the science of computing. Through the course, students will apply their understanding to create solutions to real-world problems using algorithms and the high-level programming language, Python. As they progress, they'll develop a deep understanding of the creation of applications using computational techniques. Taught by the creator of and, our hope is that students will be inspired to create their own applications and discover how technology can be a powerful tool for serving others and advancing God's purposes in the world.

Physics IGCSE IOS (2023-2025)

This course prepares students for the CAIE IGCSE examination in Physics. IGCSE physics is a fascinating subject that can deepen our understanding of the natural world and its laws. As we explore motion, energy, and electricity, we can see God's handiwork in every aspect of the physical world. This perspective can inspire us to contemplate the mysteries of creation and our place in it. The syllabus covers topics such as mechanics, thermal physics, waves, electricity and magnetism, and atomic and nuclear physics. It aims to provide a strong foundation in understanding the physical world. Chris has over 40 years’ experience in a top ranking independent school. His results at both GCSE and A level were second to none and during the course of his teaching career, it was rare event when a student of his failed to achieve an A*! (No Pressure, Chris!)

Cambridge IGCSE History looks at some of the major international issues of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and covers the history of particular regions and events in more depth. The syllabus: enables learners to develop historical knowledge and the skills required for studying historical evidence. IGCSE History is the study of the past, providing insight into how God has worked throughout history. The Bible reveals His hand in the rise and fall of nations, teaching us valuable lessons from the successes and failures of those who have gone before us.
