It’s a place to share ideas, learn new skills, explore different technologies, and collaborate with others who share your interests. Video Creation Competition 🎬 Are you ready to get creative and make an impact? Our Video Creation Competition is open to all IOS students (all tracks) and it’s your chance to showcase your storytelling skills through video. Create a fantastic video (maximum 3 minutes) on one of two themes:

• A Day in the Life of an IOS Student
• The Gospel — share the good news in a fresh, unique, and engaging way for this generation using digital media

Video creation is a powerful skill in today’s world and for this current generation particularly. It gives you a voice, a platform, and the ability to influence others in meaningful ways. This competition is designed to help you develop your video editing skills, gain confidence, and explore creative expression - all while having fun. There are prizes for the best entries, so bring your ideas to life and give it your best shot! Recommended tools: Canva and/or CapCut. We hope this competition gives you the opportunity to grow, create, and be recognised - so start planning, start filming and we look forward to seeing your entries!

The Nobel Prize honors those who dared to ask questions, look closer, and imagine something better. But you don’t need to be a genius to start thinking like a Nobel winner — you just need curiosity and the courage to explore what’s happening around you.📚 In the past, accessing all this information about the Nobel Prizes – including student-friendly slideshows and the official documentation behind each prize – would have meant a trip to a top university library. ✨ But now, it’s all here – curated and compiled for you - at your fingertips! We hope that many of you will benefit greatly from learning deeply, all for the glory of God. See what you can learn and....eventually, do!

Is life the result of random chance… or intentional design? This course, by Andy Fraser, explores the powerful idea of Intelligent Design - the view that the complexity, order, and information found in nature point to a purposeful Creator rather than blind processes. Students will examine what happens if there is no design: no Creator, no ultimate purpose, no objective meaning -  and what it means if design is real. Through exciting real-world examples from biology, physics, astronomy, and information science, students will investigate evidence, ask big questions, debate ideas, and discover fascinating features of the natural world -  from DNA as a “code” to the fine-tuning of the universe itself. This is a course for curious minds who love to explore, discuss, and think deeply about life’s biggest questions.

Starting Thursday, October 9th 2025, 12:00 (UK TIME) *Thursday Sessions*

Maths Beyond is an online club open to all, where curiosity and creativity drive exploration. On the course itself you can look into some of the most fascinating unsolved mathematical problems, not necessarily to solve them outright, but to spark fresh ways of thinking and appreciate the beauty of mathematics and just learn about what they are. In the live sessions, with Mark Ronalds, members collaborate on puzzles, share problem-solving strategies, explore surprising connections across different areas of maths, and see how abstract ideas can shape real-world applications. You will also be given a research project and the opportunity to share a 3 minute presentation that will really stretch you. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or just beginning your journey, it’s a welcoming space to challenge yourself, think deeply, and most importantly - have fun with maths and an amazing tutor!

Join us as we read a wonderful book together - Atlantis: The Accidental Invasion by Gregory Mone- a thrilling adventure that blends science, myth, and big questions about truth, courage, and discovery. From a Christian worldview, we’ll explore not just the story itself, but also the deeper themes it raises: What does it mean to seek knowledge responsibly? How do faith and science interact? This group is for everyone - whether you’re an advanced reader eager to dig deep or someone who simply wants to grow in reading skills while sharing great conversation.

🌿 Nature Club 🌿

Come and explore the wonders of God’s creation in our new Nature Club! Each week we’ll start with a short 5-minute devotional, then enjoy a fun talk about an animal, plant, fungus, or habitat - led by one of the students. After that, everyone can share interesting things they’ve discovered in nature during the week. We’ll finish with a lively Blooket quiz to test our knowledge and have some fun together!

It’s a relaxed, friendly club for anyone who loves nature and wants to learn more about the amazing world around us.

A creative space where artists of all levels come together to learn, grow, and make amazing things -and just enjoy getting together and sharing ideas. From transitional and traditional crafts to graphic design, digital illustration, and even animation. Get tips and tricks, try new techniques, and connect with others who share your passion for creativity. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills or simply enjoy making art with friends, you'll love this club. Come along and make some friends.

Join Football Club (led by Daniel and Eben), a fun, online club for people who love this amazing game. Each session begins with a short devotion before we dive into topics like attacking, defending, set pieces, football history, and what an ideal—even Christian-inspired—team might look like. We can also enjoy quizzes, discussions, and interactive activities while making sure everyone is included, regardless of their favourite club. We can also have sessions where members make a presentation on their favourite club or football player. Meeting at 4pm (UK time) on Wednesdays, the club offers optional prep tasks and a friendly space to learn, share, and enjoy football together. You don't have to be good at something to give it a go! IOS Enterprise is an exciting, hands-on course designed to inspire every student to dream big, think creatively, and launch their own mini (or even big!) enterprise. Through 10 engaging lessons, students will explore the principles of entrepreneurship grounded in Kingdom values—discovering how to identify needs, solve problems, and serve others with integrity and excellence. From developing a purpose-driven idea to understanding business structures, taxes, marketing, and digital presence, this course equips young people with the practical skills, biblical wisdom, and confidence to step out and make a real impact in the world. There are five live tutorials starting Monday 10th November 2025. (7:30pm, UK Time). Lots of practical stuff and things that aren't on the course will be covered in the live tutorials as well as a chance to share and hear from others! The course is designed for you to work through it, come up with an idea and see it through from start to finish!

Open to all - remember the importance of reading for pleasure! Out of the Silent Planet by the incredible C.S. Lewis is not intended to be a theological or doctrinal statement but an imaginative and thought-provoking sci-fi and futuristic adventure that merely explores big questions about our world and its origins. It's one of his little known books and a great read! It's a deeply thought provoking story about what makes Earth the way it is (fallen), and whether things could have been different. With rich storytelling and deep concepts woven into an engaging narrative, this book offers a unique exploration of the universe in a way you would not have imagined before. Join Mrs. Turner in reading the first four chapters (and do go on if you're enjoying it to finish another book) with a live tutorial starting 14th May Wednesday 1pm. No need to have read it, just come along!

We believe everyone has something they’re excellent at—something unique, something powerful, something worth celebrating. But excellence doesn’t just happen. It takes curiosity, effort, and a place to start.

That’s where these projects come in. Pick one (or more!) that excites you, and start your journey. Work solo or team up with friends, and when you’ve completed your project, send it to contact@immanuelonlineschool.com to claim your spot on the Excellence Wall. And yes, there are prizes for exceptional work! There are projects ranging from NASA challenges (e.g. LunaRecycle - NASA) to learning to play an instrument, writing a book, creating a video, 3d design, animation, and more.

The IOS book club is a space for students to come together and celebrate the joy of reading. Each session will begin with introductions, followed by a discussion on the crucial importance of reading. Come along to hear from students who will do short (1 minute talks) on their favourite books - this will offer insights into different stories and genres. Reading builds empathy, enhances grammar and spelling, and stimulates creative thinking. It is an essential part of personal and academic growth. Join us to meet fellow readers, share your thoughts, and explore the wonderful world of books!

Our mission is to empower students with critical thinking, eloquent speaking, and effective argumentation skills, grounded in Christian principles of truth, respect, and integrity. Through engaging online sessions, students will explore diverse topics, develop a robust understanding of various perspectives, and learn to articulate their beliefs with confidence and grace. The Christian Street Stories brings to life the secret places and untold stories of faith that have shaped our towns and cities- all across the world. Through captivating photos and videos, the aim is to take you on a journey to explore historic churches, tiny details, forgotten landmarks, and the incredible stories of Christian influence. Watch as the streets come alive with a new perspective on the faith-filled heritage of your hometown! Feel free to submit a video that highlights your town/city and there are prizes to be won.
