End of Term Goodbye

End of Term Goodbye

Dear Parents and Students,

We are just a few hours away from the end of term! 🎉✨ I hope you are all looking forward to a wonderful and well-deserved summer break.

One of our parents, Immanuella David, recently shared a beautiful reflection we’d love to pass on. She reminded us of Peter and John – described in Acts as "ordinary men", yet they spoke with boldness and were used powerfully by God in the spread of the Gospel. How? As Acts 4:13 tells us, "they had been with Jesus."

It doesn’t matter whether you’re just starting out with no experience – just like young David, who stood before Goliath without armour, training or the tools of war (1 Samuel 17:33). He had only a stone in his hand, yet God gave him victory over a giant. How? Because David’s deepest desire was to walk closely with the Lord
(see: Psalm 27:4; Psalm 63:1,8; Psalm 84:1-2,10; Psalm 16:11; Psalm 42:1-2).

Whatever future path you might take – the most important thing is this: to be with Jesus in your daily walk.

🔔 A quick note before we finish: tutors will not necessarily be marking work during the summer holiday, except at their discretion. If you have any incomplete work, don’t worry at this point. For students in Years 7 to 9 and 11, please make sure you download your gradebooks and any uploads and feedback you want to keep.
Students in Year 10 or otherwise midway through IGCSEs: it's ok, your courses will not be reset!

We pray you have a restful and enjoyable summer holiday 🌞🌟

📖 A verse of encouragement for students:
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself."
Matthew 6:33–34a

💛 A verse of encouragement for parents:
"All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children."
Isaiah 54:13

We look forward to seeing you again in September in Week Zero! ☀️🎒

Every blessing,
Jonathan
